Oh this is so nice of you.
First thing is to make sure your hands always clean free of the scent of food.
They bite if they think you are food or if scared.
Have a towel near by in case hammy tries to run or jump out of your hands.
Handle as often as possible, getting it used to you.
Read up on hamsters to gain confidence.
Don't fear it keep handling it, talk to it.
It takes time but you'll do fine!!!

I have a roborovski hamster that won't let me hold it. I could get my hand on him for a while but then she bit me. You're website is called the hamster whisperer so I hope that you can help me with this case. I love my hamster and I really want to hold it but I can't thankyou for your time.

Yes many CHIPMUNKS.
Go to profile,click on topic galleries, click on animals, click on the galleries all about chippies, I think 3 or 4 of them.
