The Arizona Antique & Classic Motorcycle Enthusiasts (AACME) holds its annual vintage show in the springtime on or about Palm Sunday. For years, the association held the show at the popular Club Reo in Scottsdale. A few years ago, the show was relocated to the Shriner's Hall on the east side of Phoenix.
To my knowledge, this is the largest annual vintage motorcycle show in Arizona. Held in conjunction with the show is a vintage motorcycle parts swamp meet. Scores of quality vintage bikes are entered in the show each year. The excellent show is conducted by a small group of dedicated vintage motorcycle owners. Over the years, I’ve attended many of the shows, but unfortunately have missed more than I want to admit. If you’re ever in the Phoenix, Arizona area during the springtime, do yourself a favor and checkout the show. You’ll be glad you did.
Following are some of the vintage motorcycles seen at the 2007 show. In the ensuing weeks, I will post the remainder of the bikes from the 2007 show and track down some pics from previous years. If you are a vintage motorcycle aficionado or one who appreciates classic vehicles, be sure to check back.
