This was taken near the Carrizo Plain National Monument. Not many people go here. This area is known for the San Andreas Fault that runs through here. Soda Lake can be seen here in the valley. I'm not sure where Wallace Creek begins, but this is near to it. Wallace Creek is known for the 130 meter offset from the San Andreas Fault. There is actually a lot to see here, and I haven't even begun to scratch the edge of it. Painted Rock near Soda Lake is seasonal, so I will have to look into that later in the year.
