...so, we must carefully cut and remove the molded-on plastic pocket, and the integral floor around it (I suppose you could just slice the pocket out... I prefer removing the whole big square).

ON this demo car, I sliced with a knife several times then removed it with a nipper. On prior cars, I've separated the plastic floor from the weight - which is more complicated than it sounds!
