in the tenderloin street art thrives. these talismans on buildings each express a child's dream. i loved them because i felt like they were protection against harm.

Colour in the bleakness...that is actually how I view childhood...this is not simply a talisman...it is a metaphor for life.

A captivating image. I found myself studying it for quite alwhile. Yes, protection perhaps. Not unlike the dreamcatchers the American Indians make to capture the nightmares of children. Nice photo.
