In Las Vegas, I was most impressed by the Bellagio fountain shows. The whole arrangement is a magnificent combination of art and incredible technique. The fountains dance to different songs in the gigantic man made lake in front of the hotel, and provide a few displays to the public every hour, for free. It attracts all the people who pass by, either walking or driving.

Besides the water movements, sometimes there's a layer of fog over the lake (photo #4) that creates a mysterious atmosphere. Through the shows the audience sing and cheer and applaud together. It's a kind of friendly communication among the perfect strangers. I've never been so moved by a performance without any actors or artists in it.
