I left my heart in San Francisco, so I went back there for another short visit, trying to capture what I have missed. This time, thanks again to my friends and relatives who drove me around, and the picture perfect weather, I covered more scenic places, and was able to see the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge under the sun. The Palace of Fine Arts was still under renovation, and part of the area was closed. I was lucky to capture the dome before the sun went down.

Stanford University is as impressive as ever. The architecture at Stanford, the Palace of Legion of Honor, the Palace of Fine Arts and even the City Hall of San Francisco, all made me feel as if I was in Europe.

The most unexpected encounter was with a pelican that was walking and flying around, against the beautiful sunset at Santa Cruz.
