015_Berlin Central Railway Station.jpg

The tall concrete tower on the left features the distinct red "DB" logo, representing Deutsche Bahn, Germany's national railway company.
Opened in 2006, it is the largest five-level crossing station in Europe, designed by the architecture firm gmp Architekten. There are over 50 escalators connecting various railway lines.
The two prominent multi-storey structures framing the glass entrance hall are known as "bracket" or "ironing" buildings (Bügelbauten). They span over the east-west tracks and contain extensive office space.
The station features a massive, curving glass roof construction that stretches over 300 meters long to allow daylight to flood all the internal platform levels.
