198_I sit where I belong.jpg

The man seems to be saying to his wife:
"Don't worry about those seats in the last photo. I will sit where I belong — beside you — until the end of time."
This bronze sculpture, titled "The Older Generation," is the work of artist Barrie Shaw-Rimmington and is located in Chemainus, British Columbia, Canada.
I am wrapping up this gallery with this photo. I have experienced a wide variety of Moods throughout my travels. These are part of them.
Thank you very much for viewing my photos, reading the descriptions and for leaving your comments.

A touching tribute to lifelong companionship. The bronze couple sits quietly together, surrounded by greenery and stones, creating a peaceful and reflective mood. The man’s gentle turn toward his wife suggests devotion, comfort, and an unspoken promise. “I sit where I belong” feels like a simple but deeply moving statement of love. There is tenderness in the way they remain side by side, as if time itself has slowed around them. The statue beautifully honors the strength of enduring partnership and it reminds us that true love is not only in grand gestures, but in simply staying beside one another.....wonderful image...V
