This stone monument in Puerto Natales, Chile, depicts the Italian explorer and missionary Alberto de Agostini shaking hands with a member of the indigenous Kaweskar people.
The oversized foot in this sculpture, is a deliberate artistic reference to the legend of the Patagones, as various explorers had reported seeing massive footprints in the snow.
