Füssen is a picturesque little tourist town that serves as the main transit point for visiting the famous castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.
The first time I visited Neuschwanstein, I walked straight up to it immediately after stepping off the train.
The second time, I lingered for a while in this charming little town before taking the bus.
I didn't know which building it was; it was purely by chance that I spotted this archway and, through it, discovered this particular section of the structure. I was absolutely thrilled!
I told myself that this "tight fit" framing seemed as if it had been custom-made. There was absolutely no margin for error. I took a deep breath to avoid the slightest camera shake... phew!
