My tour had advised us to bring some gifts for the students as we'd visit a school located at the highest altitude in Peru. I packed a few dozens of pens and 20 tubes of skin lotion. Meeting the students was a moving experience. Almost all of them had chapped skin. I gave 18 to the teacher to distribute, and pulled this girl and the one in the next photo to one side, and gave them one tube each. I told them in Spanish how to avoid the eye area. This girl looked at me with her expressive eyes the way I would never forget.
