El pueblo Español (Poble Espanyol)

This unique space on the slope of Montjuïc was created on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1929. With its meaning "A Spanish village" in English, this site could be called a summary of architecture from various regions of Spain. It's a combination of art, recreation and culture. Besides the souvenir shops, a small monastery and mini museum, there are also a few crafts demonstration showing the tourists how certain famous products are made.

I met a class of lovely primary students who were following their teacher on a field trip. They were very curious to ask me questions about New York. Their friendly attitude to approach me was obviously different from how the kids in the U.S. were alarmed "Don't talk to strangers" to avoid being abducted.
