I love to walk through the snow. It is so quiet to walk here in the winter. Although you do cross some places you hear the running water and their are birds along the way. Occasionally you hear the persistent call of a cardinal. Once on the way back, I heard a mad jay. But mostly it is a quiet magic solitude when walking on new fallen snow. I put this gallery is so those of you who do not have this can experience it vicariously in my photos.
