I think you ROCK...Kelly is TRIPPIN! Get a tripod and keep sharpening the images. I think you are "SEEING" fine! She is the blind one ;) We use your pix here at work for backgrounds every day ;) Keep on snappin... (Not you Kelly) D

Thank you. I do agree with your comments. Early on I had a 3X very basic camera. Many of the photos were processed with the cameras program which had an instant fix that over sharpened. Now I have an image editing program, I tend to sharpen for the subject. I later got a C-2100 which did a much better job. But even with the IS, at full zoom with the B-300, there is often movement when I am holding the camera. I have improved that somewhat. The comsumer cameras in my price range do seem to have a pixelation in some colors - usually blues and shadows. And, I sure would love a pro camera and set of lens. Unfortunately, that will never be in my budget. I do hope one day to move up to a higher quality camera with improved technology. But for now, I enjoy what I have and live with limitations of the camera and myself. Again, thank you for your honest comments.

You've got a great eye for photography but you're somewhat inconsistent, and many images suffer from camera shake or movement on the part of the photographer. Several others appear to be suffering from "over sharpening" which also introduces a great deal of image noise. Occasionally you hit one that's extremely well done in both visualization and representation. (Often referred to as "seeing".) Your consumer digital camera is holding you back by having a lot of typical "halo" effect and noise in the blue layer as is the case with most consumer CCD imagers. A "pro" camera such as the Canon D30 would make all the difference in the world with your images. You obviously have a natural eye for it and your consistency will improve with practice. Keep up the good work!
