This is an iron cannonball (nonexplosive) that was fired into the Elizabethtown, KY when the square was being used as a barracks. This was a grab shot out the car window as I was heading home. I am still a day behind posting. I hope to be current by tomorrow and hopefully will have another Illustrated Wordsmithing photo then.
