The Beginning - Belly Dancer 01

I went to the Olde English Fair today. I had to put a new hard drive in my computer so I could d/l the photos I took. This is the only one I have resized so far. Tomorrow I am going to Steam Boat Days and then work. Next weekend I am going to be in KY for a 3 day weekend. So, I have no idea when I will get the other photos sorted and resized. The dancer had more color than the horses and jousting, or the sword play, of even the melee. So I did this one first. :)

Great colors and movement here! Nice curvy girl too! I like that in a bellydancer!

Great freezing of motion. Can you fix the background a bit so that it's less distracting? A very nice picture anyhow.

I do fill up a 512M card fairly fast even when I use best quality jpeg. Of course for the action things I use the burst and that fills up cars quickly also.

I can't wait till the Bristol Faire opens next month. I think I'll feel a little anachronistic toting around a camera, but I'm longing to capture the beauty and color swirling around the place. Have to remember to lower the resolution and ration myself, or I'll be out of memory inside of an hour or two. ;^)

We had a Renaissance(sp?) Festival here last month and I took a few photos there, but most of them weren't worth posting. It was nice though, just to walk around and see the jousts, the queen, the old style clothing, etc.
