Zeos OA-130.jpg

I know it is a boring photo. This is an off axis 130mm telescope I used for astrophotography. after chemo and surgery I can no longer setup the tripod. Off Axis telescopes are hand made. They take a very large mirror and cut 4 mirrors out of it. These then focus to the side so there is no obstruction in front of the reflector like in normal scopes. Since there are not that many mirrors over 14" they are rather rare. So now you have seen one. Since they are handmade mostly to order, You will not find the Zeos name anymore as it was one man custom building scopes.

It is very fascinating to see. I’m sorry you can’t use it. V

Its a shame that you cannot still operate the tripod to set it up, Wayne. I imagine you must of had endless hours of fun looking into skies above us.V
