Dirk-Jan and Martine have a farm, they raise cows until they have their first calf and start to give milk. The better part however is that it is also a farm where the mentally disabled or challenged if you prefer, can spend their day and help taking care of the animals. I think it is a wonderful concept. All their animals are very huggable, but Chien is exceptional. She not only lets you pet or hug her but she is asking for it!
She is one of a twin, her sister is called Anne.... so together that spells Annechien.
They were born at the farm of Floris and Tine. Chien turned out to be a really cool cow and I'm trying to get Floris to buy her back but I’m not sure if I’ll succeed.
