Wonderful capture! I don't like to explore this old gold mine, not even to find the tiniest gold nugget!! :-) ...It look too old, I wouldn't feel secure! BV. Anna

Very crisp shot of the shaft, but I would hesitate to go any further than that. V

Nice tones and capture of this old mine. It looks like it wouldn't have been all that safe when it was new. V.

Nice scene entrance for the eye to enter.
Detail and exposure superb.
Looks like a place that you should not enter .

Wow! I saw a few of these in NV. I was tempted but never went in. I know they are unsafe. Great shot of history. V

Excellent capture of this old mine. Hard to believe it was probably the scene of great activity at one point in time.

Good photo of it, but it sure doesn't look very safe now.

A well presented trip to the past. Safety was not much of an issue at that time.

Visited and toured a mine in Idaho Springs that was not abandoned, but the timber support system sure looked similar. Glad I toured the mine and really glad I don't ever have to go back in. A wonderful shot of what the mines were like. Great clarity, lighting and glimpse of Colorado's past. Voted

I would love to explore it too but rather claustrophobic. Great shot.
