Balloon Ride over the Boston Common

On our last morning in Boston, Tim and I took a short hot air balloon ride over the Boston Common. The balloon is pretty small (holds 4 people at a time in the basket). It's tethered to the ground the entire time, and rises to a height of about 350 feet. The ride takes about 15 minutes round trip and affords some amazing views over the city! We were there early in the morning, around 8am.

Wow, beautiful light on the skyline at that hour, especially against the low gray clouds. Nice work! Looks like a fun ride :)

Wow! Cool pictures. You were brave to go up in that. Sue said it was moving around too much for her liking and she didn't trust the tether. Of course I would have gone for a ride myself but I only had the P&S camera! LOL
