Hyde Park- Speakers Corner.... Where people express their views (mainly religious) to anyone who listens (mainly tourists.) |
It makes a pretty interesting atmosphere, especially when people question the preachers. |
 Pretty optimistic eh? |
The Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park. The new Princess Diana Memorial is nearby. |
The Italian Gardens in Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. |
As you can see we explore Hyde Park quite often as it is a 10 minute walk up the road from our flat. |
The Sunken Gardens of Kensington Palace. |
 The Orangery. |
 |
Tia, Al, Clint, Jarrod and myself took advantage of the late summer nights and had a picnic in Hyde Park. |
The sun goes down just after 10pm so we had plenty of time to play with the frisbee, hacky sack and just chill out. |
I (Julie) went to Richmond which is about a 45 minute train ride out of London. Beautiful place. |
Reminds me of the Left Bank in Fremantle. Sort of. |
Jules gets some nourishment at her favourite restaurant before going to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers. |
James Brown was the support act. The guy is so old but so full of energy. |
As you can see we were a looooong way from the stage. |
Aaaaand the Chili Peppers are here. |
 |
It was a HUGE concert. Apparently the one of the biggest they've played. |
One word to describe it: AWESOME. |

Us and Anthony on the screen. The closest we could get, oh well! |
London's Borough Markets located under London Bridge. An amazing food market that sells EVERYTHING! |
I come here every couple of weeks to get some fruit and vege as well as something out of the ordinary. |

On my (Julie) way to work I walk past alot of different flats/apartments so I thought I'd take a few snaps. |

A corner pub. You've probably heard that there is a pub on every corner and inbetween.... It's sooo true! |
Clint and Al show Penny (a friend of ours from Oz who worked with them at Burswood) around London for the day. |
Penny outside Harrod's Department store holding a bag of Krispy Kreme donuts (yum) in swanky Nightsbridge. |
Having a breather in a park whilst devouring the Krispy Kremes. |
Julie and Amy catching up over a traditional Cornish Pasty near Spitalfields Market. |
Julie's cousin Scott has just joined the many, many thousands of Aussies living and experiencing London. |
