The last few Northern lights I shot from my deck. Vimeo http://vimeo.com/38705886 Tonight there was a good chance to see some lights so I set up in a field about 20 miles north out of St.Albert in a remote area. I set my camera gear on a tripod about 50 yards from the road and waited. The lights performed so well for me they even through in some red flashing lights. Two RCMP cruisers came and checked me out and was wondering what i was doing. Needless to say it was a very exciting evening.
