Fantastic subject and composition. An immature bird must be hard to spot. I've only ever seen the crimson adults. Add to that the Koa tree context and you have a really unique photo (I'Iwis are more commonly associated with 'ohi'a trees and their lehua blooms, which the bill shape evolved to fit)
