Antarctica

Fatbirder's Top 1000 Birding Websites
<>

No words or pictures can describe this unspoiled area that still exists in the world.
We took an 18 day voyage from Ushusia to the Falklands, South Georgia and then down to the Antarctica peninsula with Quark Expeditions.
There were only 130 passengers on the ship and since only 100 people can be on land in the Antarctica, our landings were split 65/65.
One group would do a zodiac cruise while the other made a landing. It is hard to say which was better.
One thing we learnt really fast, is that everything is weather dependent and the weather changes constantly from hour to hour.
It definitely was a trip of a lifetime.
