My wife and I have been to Skaneatateles a couple of times and we think it is a perfect Smalltown, USA destination. The last time there we stayed in a B & B about two blocks from the lake and loved the restaurants, the Saturday evening band concert at the municipal park, the wine tastings at one of the dozens of nearby wineries and ......everything really. We really enjoyed the sightseeing boat ride along the shorelines of the lake taking in all of the great homes and properties on the water. The water in the lake is crystal clear also (one of the top ten cleanest lakes in the world I believe). This image did bring back a lot of great memories. Thank you.
