It’s a love story starring Sandra Bullock (Dr. Kate Foster) and
Keanu Reeves (Alex Wyler – an architect).
Kate is in downtown Chicago and Alex is in a remote lakeside suburb.

I love your great idea! Thanks for the walking tour, which made me a bit nostalgic. I haven't actually lived near York since 1969 and haven't visited sinced my parents moved away in about 1996.
