Hey Baby, Wanna Kiss?
Today we took our grandsons to Beech Fork Lake marina to feed the carp. There's a little hanging bridge that you walk across to get to the docks, and these disgusting fish just lurk there, waiting for people to feed them crackers, bread, or anything else that happens to fall over the side of the bridge. They are huge, and when the cracker hits the water, there is a feeding frenzy of hundreds of fish. The boys had a blast feeding them, and watching the ducks literally walking on the backs of the carp, trying to get to the crackers first. Good times, family fun!

The Game
Marshall and WVU played in Huntington today for the first time since 1915. I have never seen such excitement for a football game. Many people who live here in Huntington graduated from WVU. There are many "mixed" families, so today's tailgate parties were a little different, with the fans celebrating together. This is my husband (in the green) with one of his best friends, who is a mountaineer. Even though Marshall lost, we were right in there. It was one of the most exciting games ever played here.

Watering the Pool
After only 9 work days since starting to dig, we have a pool of sorts. In this hot dry weather, we have to keep it watered down to make sure it doesn't crack. Next week we'll get tilework, the automatic cover system, and coping. Hopefully we will get to swim some before the days get too cold.
