Unexpected
Sometimes the best pictures are the ones you didn't plan. This morning I was sitting in the family room enjoying the bright sunlight coming through the windows. There is a bronze deer statue on our mantel, and I happened to look up and see its shadow perfectly centered on one of the large rocks of our fireplace. I grabbed my camera and snapped off a few shots before the light moved. I'm happy I was able to capture the moment.

Are You Nuts?!
Or if you aren't, do you have any? Since people feed these squirrels all the time in the park, they are pretty aggressive. There are spots along the path where you don't want to stop for very long, or you might be surrounded. So this was taken very quickly with my iphone.

OK, I didn't take this shot today, but I found it on my iphone and had to use it. This was my view of Eliza when we were taking a little walk. I'm just a sucker for those baby toes.
