Tico, second from left, is one of the boys we sponsor. Although he has very little, he has a big heart and always wants to help the "poor." So when we decided to hand out rice and beans, we asked Tico to coordinate the project. He picked out 23 of the poorest families in the neighborhood, and we were able to give each one about a week's worth of beans, rice, oil, and sugar.
