Moss Macro
Life is crazy, but I am determined to post a picture a day. This represents 4 completed months!

Where's My Food?
It's hard to be patient when you are hungry, but Cracker Barrel gives you a game to keep you from getting bored. Too bad all those little pieces keep falling to the floor, way back in the corner under the heating unit where no one ever cleans. And guess who had to crawl under the chair and stick her hand back in the nasty because we just have to have all the pieces?! Thank God for hand gel.

Cropped
No, the photo isn't cropped, but my beautiful hosta is. The deer are eating things as fast as they can grow. Why can't they just eat all the weeds instead?

Hairy Harry
I really hate bagworms because they are crawling everywhere in the spring, smushed all over the driveway and yuck! But close up, they are really pretty. And hairy.

A Few of My Favorite Things
My birthday cake, which my daughters designed. They included my favorite interests of travel, photography, knitting, gardening, music, traveling to Nicaragua, and Sandals resorts. The bees represent the fact that my name means "bee." It was multicolored, which I love, and by the way, it was delicious! My actual birthday is next week, but we celebrated a little early.

Mesmerizing
Our pool is open, and the heater is working fine. Tonight I just floated and looked up at the stars, and I felt weightless. Very cool.

Surfer Dudes
My goal this summer is to teach these guys to swim so they are safe in and around the pool. They are well on their way, and we have to drag them out kicking and screaming.
PS--it's my one year anniversary on pBase!

Jumping Jacks
This morning the boys have been "ekkersizing" with Boppaw. Jake especially likes push ups. They also do leg lifts, sit ups, and the always favorite "sun comes up, sun goes down" otherwise known as toe touches.

Sparkle and Stars
OK, this is a horrible photo but I am going to post it anyway. Tonight we attended a wine tasting event that was supposed to be outside on the roof of a building, watching the stars and moon. Bad weather forced it into our magnificant old theatre, the Keith-Albee. It is truly beautiful, even though shabby. I remember growing up here, going to plays. You could sit in the balcony, and the sides of the room and ceiling were made to look like you were in an outdoor theater, complete with fake pigeons on the walls. This place was really special, and it has luckily survived the years. For this event, we sat on the stage and looked out into the theatre, something I have never done before. I really tried to do it justice, but I didn't have the time to steady my camera for a good pic. You'll just have to take my word for it.

May Apple
These funny litle umbrellas are all over the woods around here. Very fitting description, since it of course started raining while I was trying to take pics today.
