Hello: My oldest brother James (Jimmy) Bass had a Super Saber (or Sabre) Zundapp back in the 1950's. To the best of my knowledge, there were two types at that time...the Super Saber and the Challenger. I remember the front fender was shaped like a Roman helmet and the ignition key was in the top of the headlight and was teardrop shaped. Do you have any photos of these two types? I would love to have a couple for my brother Jim who is now 68 years old. I am 59 years old. Jimmy would let me sit on the gas tank and hold the handlebars. This his how I learned to ride motorcycles. I thought this was the best time of my life and the black Zundapp was the fastest bike around at that time. Thanks for your help.
