to June Allen Clayton: I remember Cascade Plunge and loved it! Who were the male and female who usually dressed in white and would do kind of a show diving off the big diving boards? Were they married? Was Jody Ellis male or female? These are 1950's memories.

I grew up just up the street from Cascade Plunge. I worked there every summer from the time I was 15 until I was 18. I loved the pool. The Ellis's owned the pool and they were so good to work for. I'll never forget my times at Cascade Plunge swimming pool, and the lifeguards - Jody Ellis, Donald Tubbs, Billy Blair and especially the older Mr. Tubbs who sold tickets. He was so funny. Sweet memories. I am now 76 years old.

Oh how I've missed this place. I remember being terrified as I jumped off the tower. Sometimes we would ride the city bus to get there. It was a really special treat.
