I did maintenance and mechanical work, and it was hot. One of the workers taught me to immerse my wrists in the boat ride water to cool down. It worked every time.

My family would go there every summer. My brother Will had cerebral palsy. I was a year older than him. I would get in the boat and then Mom would sit him in my lap so he could ride. We loved that ride!

I remember this ride it had water and my uncle almost fell in when he was getting on the boat. Only got his shoe wet.
