Tuesday - Our first day of actual clinic operation in Kigali. We spent the morning unpacking and organizing equipment and supplies (no meds, yet) and setting up the triage and clinic examining rooms. Brand new examining tables were built just for our visit. Every day, we started (and ended) the day by meeting and having fun with all the kids who had come with their parent(s) to the clinic (or who may have wandered in from the local area). Toys, picture-taking, singing, bubble blowing, and general rough-housing were enjoyed by all. In between those periods of play, it was all work.
