I never fail to be impressed with the number and quality of selfless and generous people who are willing to live and work in less than ideal -- sometimes downright dangerous -- conditions to help other people.

Many of these photos are not cropped or color-corrected and are "screen resolution", i.e., 72ppi, and may not produce satisfactory quality prints. If you would like a high resolution (~300ppi) version of any image, please send me an email (dds@radix.net or dds47@earthlink.net) with the file name (below the image, usually in the form of DSyyyymmdd_nnnn.jpg) and a brief description, and I will send you the hi-res file.
