One variation I forgot to do was leaving the color just in the liquid in the bottle. That is what Gatorade does in some of its ads. I agree that the various renderings of the image have considerable effect on how the image is viewed/interpreted.

To me, this points up how BW changes things. The bottle loses emphasis in the BW and leaves the angles and moodiness. In the top color, the bottle takes over and the overall sense of the scene is lost, in my view. The third color one does seem to return the emphasis to the angles and overall feeling, although it's a completely different feeling than the BW. So, from one shot we get very different images. Very nice.
I like the gray and white one and the very last one the best. I like the crispness in color in the last one. I love the angle from which you took this image, especially that step up to the thingy where people spring from. Very nice.
