This is a couple who were sitting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial looking out over the Mall. After shooting photos of the memorial, the Mall, the moon, and whatever else, I asked if I could take a few shots of them. They graciously agreed. I wish I could take more pictures of couples like this; it's somehow reassuring and reaffirming. I hope they like the shot.

(They asked me if I made my living taking pictures. After I stopped laughing, I asked them if I looked that much like I needed a meal.) :)
