Simple light from 100w desk lamp. Sorry I look like such a sourpuss -- but, I guess I'm just an old sourpuss.

SP - Crop. Levels adjustment (to overcome yellow tint from the lights). Small USM adjustment. Soften focus with a duplicate layer w/Gaussian blur (~10), normal blend, ~35% opacity. Eyes erased on blurred layer so sharp focus shows. Extract out background and fill with solid black. Color version saved. Convert to greyscale. Layer adjustment to contrast/brightness. B&W version saved. Convert to duotone. Use dark Pantone blue and black as duotone colors. (Intention was to keep photo essentially B&W but a bit softer than black on black would give. Tweaked the blue curve.
