6-26-04 - OK, That's Done.

Some days it takes longer than other days, but it helps assure me that I haven't lost too many synapses overnight. Then again, other days ...

PAD= Puzzle A Day . Nice.

Not really. To be honest, I'm suprised that almost everyone comments on that. I just don't like doing stuff in pencil -- too many eraser crumbs when you make as many mistakes as I do. (Take a close look at the puzzle -- lots of print-overs.) The ideal medium for crosswords (for me, anyway) is the tablet/pocket PC that does good handwriting reading. I'm holding off on a new laptop until I can get a really well engineered (and affordable) tablet PC. For now it's Palm or pen.

Nice job! And you did it in ink...very confident, aren't you?

Nice done. Don't worry for exif files. I remove them on all my pictures. They just take space and are non of interest. An argentic photo doesn't has any eather. What counts, is the picture, the exif is a digital added trash anyway.

Tip of the hat for doing it in pen. That's my goal.

Jude, Thanks. Memory recovery is why I do the damn things -- seems to reduce the number of "..if I could only think of the word.." moments.

Well done! Both on the photo, and on the crossword!

Very nice.. i like the allover golden tones here. I have no memory left so these things are out of my league!

Kill time??? I was told this was good exercise! :)

Snooty - I assume you mean the Sunday puzzle. Saturday's is pretty much the same as the other days (although I must admit that it sometimes seem a lot harder -- is it supposed to be? Hmmm..). As for Sunday, I usually get it done that day, but it always takes me a good deal of time. I'm really not a good crossword player(?) -- I do it to relax and don't do these things in both hands like some people. (See article on The Riddler in the NYT archives.)

Hey, now I know how to kill some time :) Very nice shot.

Hopefully there aren't folks out there who haven't finished the puzzle yet! I really like this shot -- its a classic and you pulled it off well. I love the time's crosswords which I used to do religiously. Now it is more sporadic. How do you do with the saturday puzzle?
