Starting in Frankfurt and travelling South from the 20'th of April, my wife and I toured Bavaria for two weeks. The weather was reasonably good with just about 5 days out of 16 that were miserable. Lucky for us, the last of the 5 days it snowed - something we are not used to at all coming from Africa. This made taking photos really difficult as the contrast between the snow and the green woods causes the snow to burn out most of the time. I found two solutions - a polariser to reduce the glare or reducing the shutter speed by one to two stops and doing colour correction in photoshop. I would appreciate any comments on other alternatives from those who are used to snow...
