Image Center RA: 0h57m21.97s DE:+60°46'29.1" (Gamma Cassiopeia)
Field of View is about 1.5X2.2 degrees Celestial North Left, Celestial East Down
Gamma Cassiopeia the bright star at the center is a magnitude 2.47 star. (the peak center star of Cassiopeias' "W"
IC59 the blue reflective nebula to the left center while IC63 (lower left) has more Hydrogen and shows more red.
To me there appears to be a lot of dust in the area due to the seemingly lack of stars in areas of the image.
Since this image is in the Milky Way I would expect a more consistant distribution of stars in the field.
IC59 and IC53 are both within a few light years of Gamma Cassiopeia which is about 600 light years away.
In astronomy, Gamma Cassiopeia is more interesting than the nebulas, due to the X-Ray emmissions and variable nature of the star.
