Celestial North is up. Celestial east at left.
The Field of View is about 1 1/2 degrees by 2 1/4 degrees.
The bright star in the middle of the frame is 5 stars, within 5 light years or so of each other.
Two of them are a binary pair, and the other three are their own system, probably orbiting each other within the same space as our solar system.
It is said the ionized gasses get their energy from this star complex about 1200 light years away.
Some sources say the nebula is 2000 light years away; from other info I doubt that there is a 1000 light year difference in their distances.
