Cocoon Nebula / IC 5146 / OCL 213

Celestial north up and celestial east left.
The experts say the nebula is some 4000 light years away and 15 light years across in the constillation Cygnus.
Barnard 168 is the dark section above the nebula. The star field of course is part of our milky way.
The reddish color is from ionized gasses, and the blue tone is mainly from reflection of blue star light.
