Located in the constillation Triangulum, which is east of the Andromeda Constillation, about 3 million light years away.
From a dark enough site, this galaxy can be seen rising below the Andromeda Galaxy.
The Milkyway (our home galaxy), Andromeda, and Triangulum are the three largest galaxys of the local group.
