Located just inside the Native Plant Garden, the golden eagle sculpture is made entirely of corten steel rods. Sculptor Mary Taylor created this impressive piece starting with a "shell" then adding each feather separately. The sculpture took approximately 10 months to complete and is a memorial to the founders of Hawk Mountain.
