Bandon By The Sea

Bandon, Oregon is located 70 miles north of the California/Oregon border. It is a magnificent stretch of coastline. Amazing monoliths are everywhere and the rocks are covered with starfish, anemones, sea cucumbers and mussels. We have been coming here on and off for 20 years and wanted to share it with our kids and grand one.

This trip was planned in celebration of our anniversaries. On June 18 we were married 40 years, Dave & Kari 12 years and AJ & Julielyn 1 year.

What a beautiful area! Thank you for sharing! There is a beach in California that has similar features, including monoliths, starfish and anemones, it is El Matador Beach, north of Malibu. I have some pictures on my website if you are curious. Best wishes! Yves
