Bella's Broken Leg

Lost Creek, PA

Bella ran onto the Boulevard the night before last and was struck by a car.

She was lucky to only receive a broken leg and some bumps and bruises.

The cars fly by the house at 50+ mph. all the time ... even though the posted limit is 25mph.

I wish that I could write speeding tickets!

Oh Bella... I am so, so sorry! If I was there, I would hug you and love you and give you extra food, and a new toy, and a special chewie, and a soft cuddly bed, and a cold drink of water with ice cubes in it, and a belly rub! Please rest up and never, ever go near those big bad cars. Barnum and Ms. Bailey Bentwhiskers send a big WOOF! WOOF! your way... We love you Bella!

Hey roll out some of those tire deals the cops have about a block from your house...that oughta stop the speeders....or ask the city to put in speedbumps. 50+ is way too fast and poor Bella was the victim. Poor baby. She looks like she is not feeling well at all. Give her a big hug for me!

Poor doggie - I'm glad it wasn't worse. She does look sorry for herself.

So sorry for this distraction. We have the same problem at our house. Sometimes I wait and walk out into the street in front of them to the mail box just to make them think.

You are so lucky that it wasn't worse. OMG, poor thing. She looks like she feels guilty, knowing she did a bad, bad thing. Poor sweet doggie.
