OOPS! I missed your post earlier... There was no good angle to shoot that provided a pleasing backdrop! I used PS7 ImageReady to crop out a VERY ugly background. After cropping, the background was filled to black. The aliasing may be due to the resizing (reduced from 2560x1920). I've seen this in another resized image.

Great colors, nice specimen too. Isn't there a lot of aliasing going on at the yellow/black boundaries ? I have never seen photoshop crop a photo with such strong aliasing. Or did you use some other program to crop this ? And I guess you painted the black bits in ?
