This Juvenile Changeable Hawk-Eagle had just swooped down into a pond and carried its prize (a water plant) to the bank. Not sure if it was a clean miss or just a youngster playing with seaweed. Taken with EOS 10D, 100-400 IS at 320mm, f/5.6, ISO 400 at 1/60 sec. It is hand held shots such as this that makes Canon's Image Stabilization worth the expense!
